Wii knew. I didn't but Wii did.

So home for Thanksgiving. Go to my sis' house to hang and what should they have but a Wii. But not just a Wii...they also had Wii Fit and Wii Play. I've never laughed so hard as I did when I watched my father box the Wii. I've also never been out of breath before from playing a video game. Laughter, workout, better...hmmm....maybe we should Wii? Or so I thought.

So back from Thanksgiving I go online to shop for Wiis and Wii Fits just to see, how much, what kind of deals now for the holidays and the "economic downturn."

Who knew by then EVERYONE would be completely sold out of Wiis? Even the Best Buy stores are sold out. It's a nation wide epidemic it's a Wii shortage!

The one place you can find them...eBay. Huh, it's like with concert tickets.... people buying up gobs of stuff other people want just to resell them. One seller (with a large qty. of Wiis and Wii related items) was trying to convince buyers to set up a Microsoft Live account (or something like) because if they sold it to them through the MS site MS would give them a refund or something. It's craziness.

I guess I'll have to wait a wee bit to Wii. If I still want to after Christmas that is.

It was killer finding ours last year under similar circumstances. Joanna cozied up to a clerk at Toys 'R' Us and he let her in on the day they got their deliveries. She was in line (with a few dozen other people) when they opened that day and nabbed one.

So go flirt with a toy retailer and get your Wii!

Same here. We ended up getting our Wii right AFTER Christmas (literally the day after- not a problem to find them then).

The Fit was even harder to come by. We started looking for them in March (even went so far as to reserve one, but the store sold it before calling us!) and didn't get one until August. We FINALLY just lucked out finding one (the only one they had) at our local Fred Meyer when we ran in late one night to get supplies for a camping trip.

I say wait until after the holiday frenzy.
